Senior Software Model Based Engineer
We are searching for a Senior Software Model Based Engineer to join our team in the frame of our product development, specifically for our Electric Propulsion System and Modular Battery Pack.
You will be responsible for developing embedded model-based software according to requirements to meet DO-178 / DO-331 certification objectives. This includes establishing a model-based software architecture that fulfills full model and code coverage, participating in simulation and test procedures using MIL, SIL and HIL to verify the functionality, safety, and compliance of the model-based software, preparing simulation cases and test result reports suitable for requirement validation and verification, and participating in maintaining company Standards and Processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing embedded model-based software in accordance with requirements to meet DO-178 / DO-331 certification objectives,
* Establishing a model-based software architecture that meets full model and code coverage requirements,
* Participating in simulation and test procedures using MIL, SIL and HIL to verify the functionality, safety, and compliance of the model-based software,
* Preparing simulation cases and test result reports suitable for requirement validation and verification,
* Participating in maintaining company Standards and Processes.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in Software engineering or related field,
* Experience as a Software Model Based Engineer in Aviation (5+ years),
* Experience in design, simulation, testing, and debugging using Matlab Simulink products,
* Experience in MIL, SIL and HIL Testing,
* Ability to express design with requirements,
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
* Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills,
* Fluent English, French is a plus but not mandatory.
Nice to Have:
* Knowledge about DO-331, DO-178, ARP-4754 and ARP-4761 standards or guidelines to be able to interpret the safety impact of the software at the system level,
* Experience with Power Electronics,
* Experience with Battery Management System,
* Familiarity with the DO-Qualification kit and related toolboxes of Matlab-Simulink.
