Responsibilities
* Develop and expand third party AuM in Switzerland and access to new accounts across pension funds, insurers, banks, foundations, family offices, asset managers, private wealth managers as well as consultants.
* Monitor market developments and knowledge of competitor offerings to pro-actively support the improvement of AXA IM Prime's unique selling points and sales pitch and customized solutions offering.
* Product pipeline prioritization to meet client needs and AXA IM Prime fund launch pipeline and ultimately ensure sales success in the region.
* Provide client mapping and target client prioritization to meet defined targets of raising third party capital.
* Monitor local conferences and propose the best opportunities for AXA IM Prime.
* Work collegially with other sales teams of AXA IM (AXA IM Core, AXA IM Alts) to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
* Ensure high standards of after-sales support and servicing delivered to investors (e.g., reporting, monitoring, ad-hoc requests).
* Deliver constant feedback to management and product team to allow AXA IM Prime to ensure that its products evolve to meet changing investor demands.
* Continually build and maintain client contacts in CRM together with an up-to-date pipeline of new business opportunities.
* Work with product development team to ensure marketing of AXA IM Prime products are in accordance with local regulations.
* Follow AXA IM processes from a regulatory and compliance perspective.
Minimum Requirements
* Master’s degree in Finance / Economics or similar qualification.
* Relevant sales experience in the financial sector / asset management industry.
* Track record of raising assets for an alternative investment firm in Switzerland (experience in dedicated mandates and solutions a plus).
* Good understanding of financial markets (public & private) and compliance matters.
* Experience with use of CRM software supporting a structured and efficient sales process (Salesforce).
* Proven engagement and deep knowledge of ESG policies and industry best practices.
* Engagement in asset management working groups / investor associations would be a plus.
* Established relationships with investors in Switzerland in the alternative space.
* Ability to structure sales processes, identify business opportunities, initiate contact with new investors, and maintain ongoing high level of client service to grow AXA IM Prime business in Switzerland.
* Ability to balance important long-term goals with the requirement to meet annual sales targets.
* Excellent verbal and written German and English language skills – another European language a plus - with proven success in delivering high quality presentations to a broad range of clients.
* Strong understanding of private assets.
* Insights and interest to anticipate future developments in the alternatives investment management industry.
* Open mindset towards innovation and use of tools supporting sales and client servicing.
* Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.
* Ability to thrive in a start-up business within a larger organization.
* Willing to work as part of an international team and share success as a team effort.
