Senior Communications Manager (80-100%) (Zurich / Geneva)
YOUR ROLE :
Responsible for leading PR activities for Lombard Odier Investment Managers:
1. Developing and executing media plans aligned to priority products and markets
2. Managing LOIM corporate news flow
3. Advising Co-Heads of LOIM and senior stakeholders on corporate messaging, media strategy and comms issues
4. Managing external agencies for alignment and delivery of strategy, reporting and measurement
Responsible for leading PR for New Markets – Private Clients:
5. Developing and executing regional media plan
6. Driving strategic PR campaigns across thought leadership, media events.
7. Advising Head of New Markets and senior regional spokespeople on messaging, strategy and local reputational risks
8. Work closely with Group PR team – managing Group PR activities across issues management, Executive Positioning for Managing Partners and delivering impactful outcomes on strategic ‘big rocks’
9. Work closely with M&C colleagues to ensure coordination and alignment
10. Mentoring and guidance of more junior team members
11. Ensure strong working relationships with senior editors and reporters across relevant client-facing media and markets
YOUR PROFILE :
12. 7–10 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media strategy, preferably within the financial services or investment management industry
13. Strong understanding of media relations and corporate messaging, with proven success in developing and executing regional and global media plans
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages such as French or German are a strong advantage
15. Demonstrated ability to advise senior stakeholders and manage external agencies effectively
16. Experience in leading project, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams
17. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with a strategic mindset
