Job Description
This role involves monitoring trading activities for potential risks and analyzing financial data to evaluate risk exposure.
Responsibilities:
1. Risk Monitoring: Continuously monitor trading activities for potential risks, including market, counterparty, and operational risks.
2. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and market indicators to assess risk exposure.
3. New Product Evaluation: Evaluate risks tied to new products, trading strategies, and proposed transactions.
4. Risk Modeling: Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to enhance risk management models.
5. Reporting: Prepare regular risk reports for management.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including front office and back office teams.
7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal standards.
8. Regulatory Updates: Monitor regulatory developments and update risk policies.
Profile Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, numerical analysis, finance, computer science, or a similar field.
* 3-5 years of experience, preferably with at least 1-1.5 years of direct shipping experience.
* Experience working in an Oil Commodity Trading company.
* Data analytical skills and knowledge of IMOS.
* Proficiency in Excel and VBA abilities, with Python programming skills a plus.
