The Animal Nutrition division is part of the ADM’s global Nutrition business with its human nutrition and health & wellness divisions. The Global Animal Nutrition Research team is located at 3 locations (North America, France and Switzerland) focusing on the development of cutting-edge technological and science-based products.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager S&T and will be based in Switzerland. The candidate will occupy a key role within the team, driving research projects to develop innovative and science-based products for monogastric animals that will differentiate ourselves on the market.
Your Responsibilities
1. Manage research projects from conception to product launch, including:
2. coordination of project’s workstreams with: internal teams (regulatory, production, business, marketing…)external partners (research centers, universities…)literature review,protocol design,statistical analyses,scientific interpretation & redaction of scientific reports,intellectual property protection,popularization of the results
3. Promote ADM Animal Nutrition research through scientific communication including publication in peer-reviewed journals, participation to conferences and support to business
4. Establish fluid lines of cooperation within ADM to leverage on our internal capabilities and partner with commercial teams
5. Support the development of our external ecosystem building high level research projects with reliable partners (scientists and customers)
6. Synergize with other S&T groups (human, biotech…) to leverage on internal expertise and extend existing solution applications.
Your Profile
7. Ph.D. degree in Animal Sciences, ideally specialized in monogastric species or related field.Fluency in English.
8. Advanced experience in project management
9. Ability to communicate with a diverse audience of stakeholders from technical and nontechnical backgrounds.
10. Drive several research projects in parallel from conception to deliverables.
11. Excellent capacity to work in autonomy while reporting regularly to the management.
12. Written and Oral scientific communication skills.
13. Skilled in external and internal customer connections.
14. Knowledge or experience in Animal Nutrition and feed ingredient development.
15. Flexibility in approaching new opportunities and novel viewpoints.
16. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a global context.
17. Availability to travel up to 20% of the time, Domestic and International.
