The opportunityThe Indirect Tax Global Trade practice in Switzerland is part of a strong network of trade professionals across the world. You will work side by side with strategic consultants, tax experts, customs lawyers, accountants, data scientists and system professionals daily. You will obtain a wide range of experience in Customs and international trade within a variety of diverse markets and industries.Our Indirect Tax Global Trade practice helps multinational corporations address challenges and develop solutions with respect to Customs regulation and agreements, sustainability regulations, indirect tax aspects of business and tax operating models. We have a great opportunity in this practice for highly motivated, ambitious, and hard-working professional to join us as a Consultant/Senior Consultant or depending on experience as suitable for other positions, in our EY Switzerland offices (Geneva, Zurich, Basel or Bern). Your key responsibilitiesManage local and global engagements, including working with other service lines (VAT, Transfer Pricing, Consulting, Sustainability and Green taxes) and other global EY member firmsCustoms advisory support across different functional areas such as customs valuation, classification, origin, processes and documentation Manage implementation of several different projects, meeting deadlines, prioritization, client management Aligning customs regulations and different tax operating with the sustainability regulations especially where cross border good movement is involved (such as CBAM and EUDR)Lead and manage trade compliance review and auditsDeveloping work propositions, including business development initiativesTrade automation and analytics project coordination and working with offshore EY Global Trade Center of Excellence Besides, you will supervise employees and participate in their training and professional development and contribute to the knowledge sharing within the Swiss and global firmAchieving your professional ambitions within a young and energetic team and developing your technical skills as well as benefiting from continuous in-house training and a global experts' networkContinuously increase the reputation and trust of the firm through your participation in seminars, presentations, and publicationsSkills and attributes for successA recognized diploma in Law and/or Economics, preferably obtained from an EU or Swiss University or equivalent foreign diploma.
