As part of our Business Development community, this global position is a demanding, multi-faceted role requesting an analytical skillset, commercial expertise, and strategic thinking to support SIG in pursuing winning strategies in existing and new markets globally. That includes identification and evaluation of global growth opportunities for SIG, support regions in implementing their growth plans/initiatives, and lead commercial excellence and strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities Explore business opportunities in new or adjacent markets evaluating attractiveness, strategic fit, and entry options (organic, inorganic).
Drive SIG's yearly strategic planning process, aligning with regions and global functions.
Steer global commercial initiatives across regions and support best practice sharing.
Support on selected M&A projects in due diligence and integration planning.
Work on special projects as assigned by the company CEO and/or SVP Commercial.
You Bring These Skills, Experience & Education Successfully passed a business education on university level (e.g., BSc or MSc).
3–7 years experience with a global management consultancy ranked in the world’s top four and/or minimum 5 years international experience in a senior management position.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into plausible conclusions and to explore and quantify alternative options.
Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas in a persuasive manner.
Dynamic, target-oriented, and entrepreneurial thinking personality.
Supporter of lean principles and methodologies to create value within SIG organization.
