Responsibilities Develops the category strategy and implementation roadmap in alignment with defined goals set by the Head of Indirect Procurement, ensuring consistency with the overall company strategy and divisional requirements. Collaborates with key stakeholders across the business to ensure organisational needs are met. Develops a strategy for standardization of specifications and identifying new potential suppliers. Coaches the team within the category and across divisions, fostering collaboration. Conducts internal demand and supply market analysis to identify opportunities and risks within the category. Creates and maintains a pipeline of sourcing initiatives. Manages supplier claims proactively, in line with the overall supplier strategy. Leads supplier management and development activities to enhance performance and value delivery. Prepares and executes Request for Proposal (Rf X) processes, ensuring transparency and competitiveness. Leads contract negotiations and establishes key supplier agreements to secure optimal terms. Conducts periodic supplier and contract reviews to assess performance and compliance. Oversees order processing and payment activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in Procurement, with a focus on Fleet & Travel. Experienced in managing a team. Proven Track Record in strategic and tactical procurement. Strong background in running RFx processes and contract negotiations. Ability to drive stakeholder alignment and make decisive calls to ensure procurement compliance. Experience managing supplier dependencies, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation measures. Effective communicator and negotiator. Proficiency in procurement systems (SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contracts) and data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI). Execution-Oriented Mindset: Ability to overcome uncertainties, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results in high-pressure environments. Language: English and German is a must.
