Job Description
Geoquip Marine is seeking a Fixed Asset Controller to join our Finance team in Switzerland. As a prominent player in geotechnical site investigation and a key contributor to the renewable energy sector, we are committed to enhancing operational and financial efficiency.

The Role
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in controlling, analysing, and reporting on the capital expenditure associated with our company's diverse assets. They will provide vital support to our accounting and finance teams in their day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop controlling strategies for fixed asset management
* Conduct assessments to identify risks and opportunities
* Collaborate with project, rig, and vessel managers
* Ensure accuracy in budgeting and reporting processes
* Provide financial analysis and facilitate decision-making
* Proactively identify areas for process improvement
* Conduct reconciliations and support payment management
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Conduct audits and ensure compliance with regulations
* Develop and maintain documentation of processes
* Monitor industry trends and benchmarks
* Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies
* Participate in ERP system implementation
* Collaborate with Procurement for accurate asset tracking
* Provide leadership and mentorship
* Act as a liaison between finance, operations, and IT
* Monitor and assess internal controls
* Perform additional duties as necessary
