Your responsibilities Establish 3AC Core Materials’ capabilities in data science by defining the processes & technologies Understand the nature of the business and production processes, discover the key challenges and articulate adequate technical solutions Define and execute data science projects end-to-end (from data collection to model deployment) to create new business opportunities Analyze the data collected from the manufacturing processes to extract insights and realize improvements Collaborate in a cross-functional environment with internal stakeholders (e.g. production, IT, R&D) and external partners (e.g. service providers, suppliers, research labs) Your profile University degree in mechanical, electrical, process or industrial engineering with practical experience in statistics, computer science, data science, machine learning or similar 3 years of experience in data science or data-driven engineering roles Experience in building your own ML pipeline for collecting, validating, processing, training, analyzing, and visualizing real-world use cases Hands-on experience in software development, preferably in Python Strong affinity to production technologies, experience with foam processing or chemical processing is a plus Good organizational and self-management skills, project management experience is a plus Ability to document and communicate complex results to a technical and non-technical audience Structured and logical thinker, result oriented, driven to solve complex challenges by applying scientific methods Fluent in German is a must (C1), solid spoken English skills required (B2) What do you also have to know?
