The Financial Controller Travel Retail will be responsible for managing the budget and reforecast process for travel retail channels, adhering to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating expenses related to businesses within scope, including marketing expenses and CAPEX investments
* Presentation to top management
Monthly Closings
* Review of Actual PnL vs. Budget / Reforecast / LY
* Accrual review and follow-up
* Ensure effective communication with the accounting department
* Gross margin and operating profit analysis
The role requires performing and communicating monthly results analysis to Management, with variance explanations.
The successful candidate will support the development of controlling procedures, in cooperation with the Accounting department and operational teams, including purchase orders, capex expenditures, rebilling, etc.
Maintenance of a database for clients' information, including commercial conditions, currency, etc.
Providing financial support to commercial and marketing teams, including expenses follow-up, margin analysis by sku, negotiation preparation, free products tracking, ad-hoc requests, etc.
New KPIs
Development, implementation, and maintenance of new key performance indicators.
Validation of ROIs for new point of sales, validation and maintenance of database for new kits launching.
About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Controller Travel Retail with:
* Master's degree in Business, Finance or related field
* At least 5 years of experience in finance roles (financial/business controller)
* Experience in travel retail or wholesale business is mandatory
* Strong analytical and organizational skills, critical thinking
* Reliable, rigorous, and pragmatic approach
* French fluency with excellent English knowledge
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Experience with SAP is an advantage
