Job Overview
The PepsiCo Procurement Category Team for Base Film oversees an annual spend of approximately $800 million globally. This team is responsible for developing the long-term strategy for base film sourcing across the food and beverage global networks.
Main Responsibilities
This Sr. Manager will be the primary point of contact for various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners. The role involves leading the collection and formation of a global strategy, best practices, and initiatives to drive business growth and success.
* Cost Transformation: Deliver significant productivity improvements to achieve better than zero Net Commodity Inflation (NCA) by leveraging global scale and maintaining operational excellence in each sector.
* pep+ Transformation: Accelerate progress towards pep+ ambitions through collaboration with suppliers from a vast global and local network.
* Portfolio Transformation: Drive breakthrough supplier-led innovation to meet consumer expectations and succeed in a competitive market. Provide a single owner for key global suppliers to elevate relationships and unlock supplier-driven innovation.
* Top Line Growth: Ensure security of supply to minimize business disruption and drive innovation in partnership with strategic suppliers, thereby enabling top-line growth.
Qualifications
* A highly motivated self-starter with strong integrity and ethics.
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Procurement, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred).
* Minimum 5 years of experience in product packaging, with a basic knowledge of Flexible Film and/or Base Film making preferred.
* Solid understanding of financial analysis, cost modeling, supply chain mechanics, and negotiation.
* Ability to work in an unstructured environment making trade-off decisions quickly.
* Effective interaction with all levels of management and in multicultural settings.
* Project management experience, particularly managing multiple high-profile projects.
* Travel Requirement: 40% global travel.
