We are looking for an experienced Operations & Back-Office Manager to oversee operational and financial activities for one of our clients, a Swiss private markets-focused investment firm. The ideal candidate has strong Excel modeling skills, extensive VC/PE back-office experience, and a solid understanding of PMS systems and private market structures (funds, SPVs, AMCs, trackers, etc.). This role requires a strategic thinker who can streamline processes, ensure compliance with Swiss regulations, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial & Investment Operations:
* Perform NAV calculations, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting with advanced Excel modeling.
* Oversee portfolio management systems (PMS) and act as the primary contact for banks, structuring partners, and investment stakeholders.
* Manage SPV operations, including incorporation, compliance, and closing documentation.
Operational & Technology Management:
* Prepare quarterly/semi-annual reports for management and investment committees.
* Implement efficient document control and internal regulations to optimize operations.
* Oversee technology platforms (EHP, Masttro, Bexio) and propose ERP/CRM solutions to enhance workflows.
Regulatory & Compliance:
* Support the CEO with OSIF/FINMA and auditors.
* Manage client onboarding, compliance processes, and ensure adherence to regulatory deadlines.
Qualifications:
* Expert Excel proficiency (financial modeling, NAV calculations).
* Strong VC/PE back-office experience with investment structure knowledge (SPVs, PE funds, etc.).
* Background in private banking, asset management, or family offices is a plus.
* Familiarity with Swiss financial regulations is an advantage.
* Fluency in English and French (additional languages are a plus).
