Job Description: What you will do:
Responsible for remaining knowledgeable of U.S. import/export regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR, U.S. Customs, ATF)
Prepare and submit license applications (ITAR, EAR), including gathering necessary documentation
Ensure export licenses, agreements, technical data transfer logs and other export records are maintained and organized in accordance with international trade regulations
Oversee product classifications, country of origin, Harmonized Tariff codes, and Schedule B codes, ensuring timely ERP uploads
Coordinate and participate in formal assessments of the division and plant activities to ensure compliance with import/export laws and company procedures
Train and support employees on export/import regulations
What you bring:
5+ years of experience in import/export compliance, with required expertise in EAR and preferred experience in ITAR, Customs regulations, licensing, government contracting, and international trade compliance areas such as FCPA, Anti-boycott, and OFAC
Associates/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; IIEI International Trade Certification preferred
Strong knowledge in SNAP-R, DTRADE, Microsoft Office, and SAP
Proficiency in English is required; German is a plus
