Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded software development and analog electronic design, with experience in C programming and motion control systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop electronic modules from schematic design to system integration for new and existing instruments and technologies.
* Create technical specifications, design and verification documents according to process from feasibility setup to the final unit.
* Perform and document feasibility studies and verification tests of instrument modules during development phase.
* Support the product after launch during the whole life cycle of the instrument.
* Redesign PCBs due to end of life and 2nd source topics.
* Migrate firmware code to new microcontroller platform.
* Analyze complex electronic modules and identify root causes of field and production issues.
Requirements
* Hold a master or bachelor degree in electronic engineering with focus on firmware development or comparable studies.
* Minimum 5+ years experience in embedded software development in C, preferably with STM experience.
* At least 5+ years experience in analog electronic design.
* Knowledge in motion control, especially stepper motors.
* Ideal knowledge in thermal regulation and Peltier application.
* Excellent spoken and written English skills; German is a plus.
* Strong independent work style, self-initiative, and ability to work effectively in a team.
