What does a Production Quality Engineer do? In this role, you ensure a flawless quality operation in our production department (machine assembly) by using the most modern methods, techniques and tools for quality management in order to achieve our strategic «Operational Excellence» goals and maximum customer satisfaction.
As a Production Quality Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring flawless product quality from suppliers and internal manufacturing processes all the way to final delivery. Your focus is on driving standards, solving problems, and constantly improving how things are done. Here’s what you'll do:
Plan and manage quality control for internally manufactured products, machines, and systems to meet high performance standards.
Define and maintain process documentation such as PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, and testing procedures.
Oversee quality of outsourced assemblies and modules, ensuring they meet requirements and are properly controlled.
Handle non-conformities across process steps and final products and lead corrective actions (including SCARs for suppliers).
Support product approvals for new developments and custom machines, working closely with development and customer teams.
Manage calibration and use of measuring devices, testing tools, and quality-specific equipment across production.
Track and improve quality performance by analyzing KPIs, running internal audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide backup support to the Customer Quality Engineer during holiday periods, helping ensure seamless coverage.

• Very good German and English skills (oral and written) are essential
