As a Sales Representative for Molecular Spectroscopy at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you have the remarkable chance to create a real-world impact. The Vibrational Spectroscopy business includes FTIR, NIR and Raman spectroscopy from entry level table-top instruments, production process supervising equipment to highly sophisticated R&D and microscopy solutions.
Your Responsibilities: Represent our company in a positive, professional manner in all dealings with Thermo Fisher Scientific customers, both external and internal.
Conduct and support product presentations at customer sites, Thermo Fisher labs, or online.
Actively handle your funnel of sales opportunities by CRM compliance and sales forecast calls.
Be responsible for the sales process from pre- to after-sales support and build strong, long-term relationships with your customers.
Participate in trade fairs and coordinate workshops, seminars, and related events.
Report market trends and customer requirements into the organization.
Your Qualification: Bachelor or university degree in chemistry, physics, or related field.
Working experience in industrial B2B field sales is helpful.
Alternatively, working experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry or laboratory equipment business.
Additional experience with SFDC is an asset.
Knowledge in Vibrational Spectroscopy.
Excellent interpersonal communication, both written and oral.
Proficient in German and business English; proficiency in French and/or Italian is an asset.
Customer focus, intercultural competence, and a professional demeanor.
Pro-active attitude and hands-on mentality.
Willingness to travel in the region, approximately 50% of the time.
Valid driver's license.
