TITLE: Global Sales Manager LOCATION: Canton of Jura
CONTRACT: Full time, permanent contract
SALARY: Up to CHF 140'000 + bonus (could be negotiated higher for experienced candidates)
COMPANY: Manufacturer of clamping tools and bearings for the metalworking industry. The company employs around 80 people in Switzerland and is part of a bigger group that comprises 25 companies worldwide.
SCOPE: The Global Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, building strong relationships with key clients, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service, and leading the global sales team. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to make data-driven decisions, and possess excellent communication and negotiation abilities. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand market presence in the aviation and aerospace component manufacturing industry.
Lead and manage the global sales team (10 to 20 direct reports in different countries), fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and teamwork to maximize performance and ensure alignment with company values.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and provide insights for product development and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product design and engineering, to deliver tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of diverse markets.
REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or mechanical engineering is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years experience in sales management within the machine indexable tool and workholding industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in international markets.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in both English and German. French is a plus.
Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
