Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the Old Town, in the main business center, close to the city's leisure attractions and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich has 80 guest rooms and suites and three dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lobby lounge. The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.
About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Executive Committee in Zurich, the Director of Rooms leads the Front Office, Concierge and Housekeeping Departments. The Director of Rooms reports to the Hotel Manager.

YOUR TASKS
As Director of Rooms, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Strategic and operational leadership of the Concierge, Front Office, Guest Services, and Housekeeping departments
* Active contribution to hotel strategy as a key member of the Executive Committee
* Ensuring a seamless, personalized, and outstanding guest experience from arrival to departure
* Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team with a focus on service excellence and brand standards
* Driving operational efficiency, quality improvements, and continuous innovation across all Rooms departments
* Full responsibility for budgeting, cost control, and performance analysis within the Rooms Division
* Close collaboration with other departments such as Sales & Marketing, F&B, Engineering, and Revenue Management
* Ensuring strict compliance with all Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG) standards and regulations
* Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence in day-to-day operations, setting an example for the team
YOUR PROFILE
As Director of Rooms, we expect from you:
* Several years of experience in a similar senior leadership role within luxury hospitality, ideally in a 5-star or luxury environment
* Proven success in managing and developing large teams
* Strategic mindset combined with strong operational expertise
* Strong guest orientation and passion for delivering exceptional service
* Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting and performance KPIs
* Professional, discreet, and highly responsible
* Dynamic, flexible, and team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills
* Fluent written and spoken German and English skills. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
* Successful applicants must have the right to work in Switzerland
