Headquartered in Plan-les-Ouates (GE, Switzerland), Vacheron Constantin operates a global distribution network of nearly 200 points of sale across 36 countries. Our workforce is comprised of approximately 1,500 passionate employees organised into seven geographic regions. Our principal manufacturing facility in Plan-les-Ouates is complemented by a second manufacturing site in Le Brassus, (VD, Switzerland).

We believe our people are our greatest asset - the talent that drives us, the collective spirit of our teams and the community that is unique to our Maison. As such we are looking for a Projects Engineering Manager – General Services to join us in our Geneva-based HQ team.
Reporting to the General Services Director, you will partner with key stakeholders in the Manufacturing and Corporate departments. This is a particularly exciting time to join the Maison as we near our 270th anniversary.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
* Supervise overall coordination of the team of project engineers and support the external engineering specialists.
* Assess people level of knowledge, create a competence plan, and monitor its deployment for project management improvement.
* Design high level organization & identify major changes required.
* Prepare the transformation with stakeholders (managers and teams): bring rationality, define in more detail the design, missions, operating modes required in a co-construction and collaboration mode.
* Define the tools, support the redesign of processes.
* Preparation with the sponsor representative (internal client) of the maintenance plans and operational documentation.
* Optimize the Maison projects concepts to support our journey for CO2 reduction and water consumption.
* Communicate, inform stakeholders about the project and initiate decision-making process, carry out iterative loops, co-define actions, if necessary, etc.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL?
* Over 10 years of experience in a similar position, with a deep understanding of diverse cultures and environments. Experience in a fast-paced and/or high-growth environment is a plus.
* Master’s degree in mechanical, electricity or energy, mechatronics, coupled with PMI/PMP certification.
* Recognized as a great public speaker, ability to build strong relationships and communicate well across all functions and levels.
* Proven capability to think strategically while executing with precision. Capacity to understand the big picture and ability to be hands-on.
* Feel at ease with driving projects and cultural changes in a matrix organization.
* Highly agile mindset, collaborative, solution oriented with capacity to influence and onboard people through change.
* Positive attitude and growth mindset with a strong sense of ownership and keen eye for detail.
* A bility to drive change and to interface at all levels of the organization.
* Highly developed communication skills, bilingual English and French, both verbal and written.
