In order to cover a sickness leave, our client is looking for an HR Generalist (80-100%).
This is a fixed-term position until the end of this year (possibly longer). Start date October 1st.
The position is based in Lausanne.
Purpose of the Role
Reporting directly to the HR Director, the HR Generalist will assist the HR Team of two others generalists in managing all aspects of the employee life cycle for the assigned group, acting as the primary point of contact for all HR-related inquiries.
During this assignment, the candidate demonstrates having proven experience in Human
Resources as a Generalist in order to provide support and strengthen the team in the tasks mentioned below.
Key Responsibilities
1. General HR Administration: Manage entire employee life cycle ensuring smooth
operation of employee on boarding, internal changes and departures.
2. Time Management: Track and monitor various absences sick leave and workplace
accidents with payroll and external providers.
3. Work Authorisations: Manage work permit applications and renewals in Switzerland.
4. Recruitment: Manage entire recruitment processes, conduct interviews, and process
candidate offers.
5. Insurance Matters: manage all insurance matters (loss of earnings, accident, pension fund) related to the assigned population
6. Performance Appraisals: Implement and manage year-end process.
7. Training Development: Manage training requests for the assigned population based
on performance appraisals and yearly budget.
8. HR Projects: Participate in various HR projects according to the needs of the
department.
9. HR Compliance: act as a catalyst to enforce HR policies
Position Requirements
10. Brevet fédéral in Human Resources or proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role, with experience in another sports organisation considered a plus
11. Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken)
12. Solid knowledge of working Swiss Labour Law
13. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with others at all levels.
14. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
15. Strong writing and communication skills
16. Strong team player, discrete with a strong service mindset
17. Computer literate. Excellent command of Microsoft Office
