Director of Events Sales
We are seeking a Director of Events Sales to lead our event sales team in a diverse and dynamic environment.
About the Role:
* Lead and develop the Event Sales Team to drive top line revenue and achieve sales targets.
* Oversee team performance, handle recruitment, and lead colleague training and development.
* Work closely with our Sales Team and Hyatt Sales Force to increase booking pipeline and convert existing meeting and group enquiries into bookings.
* Manage inquiries, distribute tasks within the team, and ensure timely offers and client proposals.
* Support clients before, during, and after events with a customer-orientated approach.
* Ensure smooth and effective communication with clients.
About You:
* You must be fluent in German and English.
* Ideal candidates will have minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry with selling large event spaces.
* Strong leadership and sales skills, with a focus on time management, effective teamwork, and driving results.
