Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The team has three locations: the Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), one of the most modern of its kind in Europe; the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for innovative technologies and passion for racing; and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK.
Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

Your Mission:
* Contribute to the operation and development of real-time telemetry, data analysis, and storage systems, ensuring seamless critical data flow.
* Optimize system performance and reliability through rigorous testing, debugging, and performance analysis to maintain system integrity under race conditions.
* Support developers and end-users by developing and maintaining systems management tools, ensuring smooth operations across all team members.
* Assist with other systems-related performance analysis tools and applications, providing insights and support to enhance data-driven decision-making.
* Provide on-the-ground support during races and tests from the Operations Room, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving faults in real time to ensure seamless team performance.
* Document system designs, specifications, and operational procedures to ensure clear and efficient knowledge transfer and system management for future use.
Your Profile:
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's Degree).
* Initial experience in software development with comprehensive expertise in Microsoft Visual Studio and C#, along with strong knowledge of other relevant programming languages.
* Experience with real-time data streaming: Hands-on experience working with ATLAS or Apache Kafka, including knowledge of message partitioning and event-driven architectures to optimize reliability and performance.
* In-depth knowledge of .NET 8: Expertise in the latest features and improvements of .NET 8 for developing modern, scalable applications.
* Familiarity with open-source storage systems such as SQL and experience with file formats like Apache Parquet for data persistence and processing.
* Experience in data streaming and API optimization, with a focus on developing and implementing solutions for real-time processing and data analytics.
