Job Title: HR & Office Operations Manager
We are looking for a hands-on, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment to build and oversee HR operations (70%) and office administration (30%) across our international locations.
Responsibilities
* Oversee HR administration, payroll, benefits, compensation, and compliance across multiple regions, ensuring legal and regulatory requirements are met.
* Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and HRIS tools to streamline employee experience and support international growth.
* Support the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires from drafting Employment Agreements and applying for work permits to first-day logistics.
* Act as a key point of contact for employee queries, providing guidance on policies and procedures and fostering a positive company culture that aligns with our values.
* Play a key role in scaling HR processes as we expand into new markets, ensuring smooth operations across regions.
* Oversee day-to-day office operations, including supplies, vendors, and facilities, ensuring an efficient and pleasant workplace.
* Coordinate and manage travel logistics, including suggesting flights, accommodations, and scheduling itineraries for employees and leadership.
Requirements
* Proven experience (3+ years) as an HR Generalist, ideally within a scaling startup or global organization.
* Strong knowledge of HR policies, Zurich's local labour laws and regulations, payroll, and compliance requirements.
* Experience implementing or managing HRIS and payroll systems.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask across HR, office operations, administrative tasks, and travel coordination.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a high-growth, international startup with multiple locations.
* HR certification or professional HR qualifications.
* Experience expanding HR processes into new markets, including navigating international HR regulations.
* Experience with benefits administration and payroll in different countries.
