The perfect candidate for the Procurement Specialist brings a minimum of 3 years’ experience in operational/tactical Procurement processes and has relevant SAP experience.
General Information:
Planned duration: 12 months, with possible extension
Remote/Home Office: onsite and remote
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Operational and Tactical Procurement Activities
Supporting the effective procurement of products and services in a timely and efficient manner
Maintaining master data: materials, suppliers, and workflows
Supporting the Procurement organization to ensure that all relevant documentation is complete and available in SAP (for example RFP, scoring tools and results, Signature Sheets, Contracts, SoWs)
Providing operational procurement support as assigned
Working with team members and business partners to mitigate any Procurement and/or business issues and help achieve agreed business goals
Executing operational procurement activities in line with a responsible Procurement approach while using tools, processes, policy setting, and enforcement in alignment with DOP business processes
Contributing that established targets and metrics on customer service are delivered.
Track and monitor these metrics where required, and escalate issues as they arise
Supporting the optimization of processes to increase quality and efficiency standards
Identification of new opportunities to increase efficiency
Work closely and in a consulting manner with operational colleagues across all sides and affiliates
Must Haves:
Relevant university business degree
3+ years’ experience in operational/tactical Procurement processes
Experience with enterprise systems and procure to-pay tools and eSourcing tools; skilled in the Google tool suite
Life science experience is desirable
Fluent in English written and verbal, additional languages are a further advantage
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain networks
