This position is responsible for supporting all revenue transactions and accountability for the AMN region (inclusive but not limited to US, CA, MX, CR and DO). This includes but is not limited to processing all billing, performing revenue recognition and credit notes issuance to ensure proper controls and compliance. This position is accountable for problem resolution and ensuring compliance with existing procedures and controls including appropriate follow-up and correction action. To coordinate these processes, collaboration is necessary with all areas of the business including sales, logistics, technical service and accounting. Also to monitor approvals for pricing, credits, discounts and organizes related documentation.
Key job functions
Manage month-end revenue closing process overseeing revenue processes in all departments to proactively accurately, completely, and during the appropriate period.
Assist in quarterly/annual audits and support SOX compliance practices. Represent revenue processes in direct discussions with internal and external auditors.
Reconcile with logistics of processes to ensure completeness and timeliness of billing; Assist in obtaining shipment documentation.
Review daily reports for potential billing errors, investigate for resolution, Preparation of weekly status reporting and dissemination in timely manner.
Support documentation and approvals with department heads and executives for pricing, special projects and credits. Review contracts for proper documentation.
Assist accounting, sales team or others in resolving billing questions.
Active partner in Accounts Receivable process to ensure minimal issues and expedient collection.
Apply back up with Billing Mexico activities.
Assist in special projects to enhance billing performance.
Requirements
Microsoft office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
Experience in billing using automated systems.
Experience in SAP or other enterprise system.
3-5 years of experience in the area.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or administrative areas.
