As a Project Manager Corporate Technology, you will execute trials in the pilot plants to intensify scientific research, work on scalable exploration areas, and develop IP relevant products in collaboration with the local teams. Furthermore, the position supports subsidiaries with new technologies, product transfers, and optimizations along the chocolate manufacturing process.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
1. Support R&D projects and create know-how by conducting trials in the pilot plants in all levels of the chocolate manufacturing process
2. Plan and prepare the trials with customers (internal/external)
3. Conduct the trials with/without customers
4. Evaluate and document the trials for customers
5. Scale-up support in L&S plants if needed
6. Conduct training in the pilot plants in all levels of the chocolate manufacturing process
7. Plan and prepare the training with customers (internal/external)
8. Conduct the trainings (practical & theoretical part)
9. Lead, coordinate & support international projects
10. Take the lead for globally relevant projects including gate papers, timing & execution
11. Help to coordinate projects of the global project list
12. Support local project leaders with technical, process and organizational guidance
13. Support start-up for new equipment for L&S International and local L&S companies
14. Support troubleshooting for pilot plants including show production and local L&S companies for machines and processes
15. Support product, process & technology transfers
16. Conduct scientific research and contribute to know-how generation
YOUR PROFILE:
1. University degree in food science or related fields
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in Technology/Process Engineering and in chocolate mass production
3. Fluent in German and English; French and Italian is a plus
4. Knowledge of MS Office
5. Travel flexibility (day visits and short-term stays (weeks/months) to support different Lindt & Sprüngli companies worldwide)
6. Strong technical knowledge of industrial food processing functions and concepts; experience in chocolate processing (Bean to Bar) is highly beneficial
7. Seizes opportunities to improve business performance
