As an Intern, you are a valuable member of the team and you are encouraged to add a great contribution. Your tasks will be related to Supplier Management for EH&S Data, Automation and/or supporting projects managed by our Team.
Be a member of a global team responsible for managing data and processes along the entire chemical-legally compliant and sustainable product lifecycle. Providing Quality oversight for Roche Diagnostics Direct Material Suppliers for the Roche Instruments (existing and in Development). Responsibility includes managing Supplier EH&S Data Questionnaires for Chemical Legislation such as REACH, RoHS, POP, TSCA, California Proposition 65, Packaging Directive, Battery Directive, WEEE
Interacting directly with suppliers, internal customers, and subject matter experts to ensure thorough evaluation and accuracy of EH&S Data following company standard using appropriate IT tools (e.g. SAP Production Systems, EH&S(M))
Ensuring data governance, quality and integrity (according to the data strategy); Eliminate waste by radically simplifying processes with an emphasis on automating redundant manual processes and foster automated report creation for the network using tools such as RPA (Robotics Process Automation, .Support the Compliance Operations Team in continuous improvement projects, such as continuous development and automation of the EHS data management for articles or substances/mixtures, IT system architecture and supplier management processes

You are an enrolled Master student with focus on Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering, Data Science or in a comparable field or completed your studies within the past 12 months. You are looking for an interesting and versatile internship for 12 months in the medtech/ diagnostics industry and you are interested to experience a modern working environment.
You will bring along the following profile for this internship:
Interest in chemical regulatory compliance and sustainability, EH&S data governance, supplier oversight and stakeholder management
Very good Microsoft Office and Google skills
Very good English skills are required. Good German skills is a plus.
The internship is not suitable for writing a Bachelor’s/ Master’s Thesis.
We are offering an internship position for 12 months. Please consider that working part time is not an option at this position.. Please indicate your preferred start date of the internship on your motivation letter.
Due to regulations Non-EU/EFTA citizens must provide a certificate from the university stating that an internship is mandatory as part of the application documents. Furthermore, they need to be enrolled during the entire duration of the internship.
