About the roleThe role of Sales Manager working at YOTEL is one of continued development and never a dull time! You will get to interact with our great guests and support the Sales team in selling our great product – making you very important to us indeed!Responsibilities (not an exhaustive list)Focus Segments – Local and National accounts in the following business sectors: DMC, Convention Centers, Social Event Booking agents, Key Leisure group agents, Weddings, Association and banqueting services, SMERF.Manages sales activities for the relevant segments for the hotel.New lead generation and pipeline growth.Full ownership of conversion and delivering new business targets.Sustains relationship with key groups’ leisure agents.Responsible for increasing total groups enquiries received for Leisure hotels.Leads Sales Executive to focus on conversion of defined business enquiries.Follow up and focuses on conversion on large group enquiries and those with potential to repeat.Carries out on property sales activities, including but not limited to show rounds, initiating conversation with last minute and unexpected sales enquiries.Secures new business and maintains repeat bookings for the relevant market segment.Responsible for implementing and maintaining groups brand guidelines and standards.Regional promotions and packages for leisure, Social groups / events.Accountable for monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue, room night and ADR targets for managed hotel for the relevant focus segment and overall revenue in line with the KPIs.Executes the sales plan and all required sales strategies covering the focus segment.Pursues membership & networking organisations to prospect for new business and build strong relations for the hotel with customers and industry partners.Identifies market patterns and trends, leading change to maintain and improve the market share, sharing with the relevant people at each hotel regularly.Who we are looking forPassion for interacting with peopleMarket knowledge (region Geneva and Nyon)Fluent in French, professional skills in English and German is an asset.A can-do attitude, hands on approach and strong product knowledge.Proficient in Microsoft office, Opera and CRM (Optimiser)Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.Outstanding vendor management skills.Are you someone who has Hotel Sales experience and looking for a new challenge?
