About the team you are joining Join our Corporate Services division as we embark on a continuous improvement and digital transformation journey. The ambition of Corporate Services is to be the trusted proactive partner providing data-driven corporate services for the business, while upholding the highest fiduciary standards.
The Corporate Services division encompasses the following departments: Corporate Finance, Treasury and Tax, FP&A, Regional Finance across 5 regional offices, Internal Audit, Corporate Risk and Compliance, Corporate Administration, and Procurement.
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Administration and Procurement and CPO, you will be responsible for IATA corporate procurement, execution of procurement continuous improvement strategy with hands-on delivery of sourcing/purchasing activities worldwide. You will lead the team of Senior Procurement Managers.
What your day would be like Manage the Procurement team to deliver added-value procurement services to IATA business units including compliance to Procurement policies, leading Procurement activities (RFx and Negotiations);
Propose and execute procurement continuous improvement strategy and be accountable for the success of its delivery;
Work with the relevant business departments setting up sourcing strategy and action plan including purchasing and engagement on revenue-sharing models;
Lead the sourcing activities based on the agreed sourcing strategies based on data analytics and best fitting business needs;
Identify, liaise and drive relevant vendor management scheme by setting up fit-for-purpose vendor strategies and support their implementations accordingly;
Undertake any other activities that may be assigned by the Director, Corporate Administration and Procurement and CPO.
We would love to hear from you if University Degree or equivalent qualification in Procurement or General Business Administration;
10 or above years’ experience in procurement activities in an international environment with a special focus on services / indirect sourcing will be a plus;
Proven skill in people management, business negotiation, project management and internal stakeholder management;
Proven skill in implementing continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and vendor management areas;
A strong analytical thinker, exhibiting intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm, comfortable in dealing with ambiguity, accustomed to working with data, able to develop relevant analysis and driven to tangible outcomes, Procurement software tool and technology savvy;
Fluent in English.
