We are looking for a FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant experience and a strong background in financial management, analysis, and reporting. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, manage, and oversee the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
3. Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to senior management.
4. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
5. Auditing: Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely completion and addressing any issues or recommendations.
6. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic initiatives.
7. Tax Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and adherence to tax regulations.
8. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
9. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and senior management to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
2. Experience: 5-7 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the textile sector.
3. Technical Skills: Proficient in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial reporting tools). Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.
4. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
5. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
6. Leadership: Proven leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and mentoring finance professionals.
7. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
