Job Summary:
We are seeking a Tax Risk Manager to join our Group Tax Department. This role will be responsible for maintaining the Tax Risks Register, performing regular tax risk assessments, and monitoring the implementation of the Tax Control Framework.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Finance, Tax, or Law, and at least 5 years of experience in international tax and/or risk management. They will also possess strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and fluency in English and French.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain the Tax Risks Register and perform regular Tax Risk assessments
* Maintain the Tax Control Framework (TCF) and monitor the implementation of the Tax Controls via the existing Group Internal Control System (ICS)
* Conceptualize Tax Processes and recommendations through clear procedures/operating guidelines for effective implementation and integration in our operations
* Support the Group Tax team in areas of international tax nature: Tax Reporting, Pillar 2 implementation, Structures and legal entities lifecycle, Tax Audit management and dispute prevention, Tax regulatory updates and knowledge sharing
Requirements:
* Master's degree in either Finance, Tax or Law
* At least 5 years of experience in international tax and/or risk management or internal controls in tax consultancy or in a large corporate group
* Risk and process-mindset, analytical skills and highly organized with attention to details, while still being creative
* Leadership skills with solid integrity values, an autonomous, proactive forward-thinker and collaboration oriented, as well as energetic and able to energize others, leading by example with an inclusive mind set
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to integrate and interact as part of a team with the various stakeholders throughout the organization, in a multicultural and diverse environment, while also able to work and build opinions independently
* Absolute fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is a must. Other language is an asset.
