The mission:

* Prepares bids & tenders: Independently handles customer inquiries and tenders, including cost estimation and preliminary design.
* Key metrics & design: Develops key figures for new builds/conversions and conducts preliminary ship design (structures, outfitting, etc.).
* Evaluates & recommends: Analyses construction methods and proposes optimal solutions for projects.
* Liaison & communication: Acts as a bridge between customers, project teams, and suppliers.
* Technical & commercial expertise: Provides technical and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.

Your profile:

* Technical Education: Technical background and a degree in mechanical, plant, or shipbuilding engineering.
* Experience: At least one of the following: professional shipbuilding experience or experience in complex construction/modernization projects.
* Skills: Strong IT skills for managing estimates and their integrations with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP).
* Languages: Fluency in BOTH German and English is a must.
* Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer-orientation.
