As a Sustainability Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the sustainability team in the implementation and enhancement of Helvetia Group's sustainability strategy. You will contribute to critical sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and integrating sustainability practices into core business processes.Your responsibilitySupport the execution of Helvetia Group's sustainability strategy by working on key initiatives and projectsConduct research and analysis to support the development of sustainability-related insights and best practicesContribute to sustainability reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (particularly providing expertise in double materiality assessment)Monitor sustainability-related regulatory developments and provide internal expertiseYour qualificationMaster's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Sustainability Management, or a related fieldAt least 3-5 years of experience in working in financial institutions or consultancy for financial institutions in the field of sustainability, sustainability strategy implementation, or a related roleExpertise in key topics such as double materiality assessment, human rights, biodiversity, and due diligence as well as strong understanding of sustainability reporting standards and regulations, such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and IFRS, is a plusProject and stakeholder management experience with the ability to build collaborative relationships in international environmentsCritical thinking and a proactive approach to process improvementFluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of additional languages (German, Italian, Spanish, or French) is an advantageWorking at HelvetiaTeam Helvetia is there together when it matters.
