Software Development Engineer Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team, working on innovative embedded real-time software solutions for Point-of-Care Blood Gas and Electrolytes Analyzers.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of life-critical diagnostic systems in a dynamic environment.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and reliable products, including Mechanics, Electronics, and Systems Engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Full Lifecycle Development: Manage all phases of software development, from design to testing, bug fixing, and maintenance of embedded real-time Instrument-Control Software.
2. Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensure seamless integration of software with hardware.
3. Agile Development: Define work packages as part of an agile development team.
4. Code Design & Testing: Develop high-quality code and execute comprehensive tests to ensure functionality and compliance.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Document development processes in alignment with medical device standards.
6. Quality Assurance: Review application design, usability, and performance, and propose enhancements for continuous improvement.
7. Innovation & Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges with creative solutions and contribute new features to meet user needs and market trends.
Requirements:
1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in agile-driven embedded software development.
2. Proficiency in C++ programming and related software libraries on Linux OS.
3. Expertise in object-oriented, multi-threaded designs, with strong debugging and optimization skills.
4. Experience with SAFe or Agile methodologies is beneficial.
5. Fluent English communication skills, with good German language skills (B1 level).
6. Proven stakeholder management and strong team collaboration abilities in complex project environments.
