Description
Key Responsibilities:
Trust Administration:
Assist in the day-to-day management of trusts, foundations, and other fiduciary structures.
Prepare and process documentation related to trust distributions, investments, and transactions.
Maintain accurate records of trust structures, including correspondence, minutes, and financial statements.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure trust structures comply with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.
Assist in the preparation of reports for trustees, beneficiaries, and regulatory authorities.
Monitor and review client files to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Support to Senior Team Members:
Provide administrative support to Trust Officers and Managers.
Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Profile
Qualifications and Skills:
A bachelor's degree in finance, law, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong interest in trust and fiduciary services, with a willingness to learn and develop in this area.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Fluency in English and French.
Preferred Experience:
Some experience in a financial, legal, or trust-related role is advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge of trust administration principles and local regulatory frameworks is a plus.
Working towards or willing to pursue relevant qualifications (e.g., STEP Certificate/Diploma in International Trust Management).
