About the Role
The Business Change Manager will work within a matrix management system with colleagues assigned to one or more projects, working in project delivery teams led by Project or Programme Managers for project work. This will be within Connect One ECOM, a global transformation project that brings together everything the Group does from a tech and data point of view to bring business benefits to stakeholders across ECOM through enhanced technology, analytics, reporting, and improved business processes.
The first project focus for this role is to work with the First Mile Project, focusing on supporting change aspects around communication, training, programme management, and reporting.
The First Mile projects are a key component for ECOM as an origin integrated trading company and have been a focus of our sustainability, traceability, and impact work for a long time. Recent updates in EU regulations and increased stakeholder pressures make data capture within the first mile of our supply chain more important than ever.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting an as-is assessment of current processes, ways of working, governance, and technology, followed by a to-be analysis to identify future needs.
* Identifying changes in processes, procedures, and practices needed to achieve the change and deliver planned benefits.
* Preparing risk mitigation tactics and managing anticipated resistance to change.
* Developing and delivering actions for change management levers, including communications plans and sponsor/stakeholder roadmaps.
* Defining, measuring, and reporting success metrics and monitoring change processes.
* Creating and managing communications across the project, ensuring consistent and clear messages that maximize engagement and ownership in individual businesses.
* Designing and delivering user and super-user training, as well as change adoption programs in country.
* Managing feedback loops to ensure the voice of the customer/colleagues is heard, concerns addressed, and milestones/improvements recognized.
Requirements
* 3-5 years of change management experience delivering technology change with proven understanding of processes involved in introducing technology-related business changes to the business.
* Experience working in a similar multi-entity/global environment, preferably with developing countries (soft commodities are an advantage but not essential).
* Proven use of change methodologies, reporting, and change frameworks.
* Advanced PowerPoint and presentation skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with technical staff and business users at all levels.
* Knowledge and experience of communications planning and delivery to support change initiatives.
* Proven negotiation skills and interpersonal fluency, able to establish and maintain strong relationships and relate confidently to users at all levels.
* Ability/willingness/passion to travel to origin countries (Mexico, Vietnam, India, Nigeria) where projects will be delivered.
* Experience with either CTRM, Traceability (CSR), or ERP global deployments.
