Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher (Fixed Term, 3 Years)
This is a fixed term postdoctoral position with a possible start after July 1st. The project involves high-pressure and high-temperature experimental work using advanced techniques such as laser-heated or externally-heated diamond anvil cell combined with various laser spectroscopic methods and synchrotron X-rays to investigate deep planetary materials.
Your Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform high-pressure and high-temperature experimental research in collaboration with group members, teach courses, and undertake infrastructural tasks.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher with a doctoral degree in Earth Sciences or related fields. Desirable Skills:
* High-pressure experimental skills using a laser-heated diamond anvil cell apparatus
* Ability to develop optical, spectroscopic, or infrared laser heating systems
Preferred Qualifications: PhD obtained within the past two years, excellent academic record, and fluency in written and spoken English.
