Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly motivated Junior Business Analyst in our fast-growing Data, Processes and Systems (DPS) team. The team consists of specialists in Business Analysis, Business Architecture and Project Management working in the Private Markets Operations department. The team's focus is the execution of strategic initiatives, replacement and introduction of new tools and platforms and design of new scalable solutions to serve our clients needs:Be an active part in a major, multi-year business and technology transformation to replace and upgrade the core private markets applications;Design, re-engineer and document key business processes with different stakeholders on business and IT side;Conduct requirement analysis and detailed gap assessments on a wide range of topics across the company;Write test cases, organize and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT);Support in project management activities, such as organizing workshops with SMEs, overseeing IT delivery, preparing status reports and resource & work planning;Define and present conceptual approaches (orally and in writing), prepare solution options and required decisions, and document results;Closely work with IT counterparts to bridge between business and technology teams;Train business users on rolled-out tools, push for adoption and support the entire change management process.RequirementsUniversity degree or equivalent, qualifying experience in Business Economics, Business Informatics or Information Technology;First working experience of business analysis in a financial services company or with a leading consulting firm in a similar hands-on role at the interface between Business and IT;Motivation to work on own initiative and in collaboration with various stakeholders, ability to deliver on time with a high level of integrity;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business and technical functions as well as process information quickly;Must be comfortable with constructively challenging the status quo and looking for new ways to improve processes and results;Great team player and ability to work collaboratively at various levels of the organization;Excellent communication and presentation skills in written and verbal English, German is a plus.BenefitsHome Office: after the successful probation period you will meet your colleagues three days in the office and have the option to work two days a week in the home office in Switzerland.
