In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with senior leadership and lead a global team to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, generate demand, and strengthen our market position. You will also shape our internal communication, ensuring employees are informed, inspired and actively engaged. With significant autonomy and the chance to lead impactful initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment, this is a unique opportunity for a results-driven marketing communications professional to showcase strategic leadership and make a lasting impact.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a passionate team of marketing professionals.
Translate business unit objectives into effective and aligned marketing communication strategies, goals, and tactics.
Responsible for global campaigns to drive brand awareness and demand generation, working closely with our digital and regional marketing teams to ensure effective execution.
Oversee global product launches, driving successful customer adoption, while developing product and application related collateral to support sales effectiveness.
Develop and enhance the BU’s positioning as a thought leader and ensure consistent messaging and branding across all touchpoints.
Manage internal communications and events for the Business Unit.
Lead creation of compelling content that resonates with target audiences across various channels, including trade media, website and social media.
Partner with our digital marketing team on digital media strategy & approach, placements, and creative optimization.
Budget management, ensuring efficient resource allocation; define metrics and KPIs to measure and improve effectiveness.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
University degree in Marketing, Business administration, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years' exposure in a global B2B marketing environment, with 5 years as a senior marketeer.
Proven experience leading and developing high performing teams, is a must.
Strong expertise in content creation, campaign management and leveraging digital marketing.
Team spirit, structured and customer-centric approach.
Ability to drive change while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exhibit cultural awareness, thrive in a matrix organization, and serve as a role model for Sulzer’s core values.
Fluency in English, German an advantage.
