MISSION & CONTEXT :
We are looking for a highly motivated Brand Financial Controller for a 1 year fixed-term contract to join our L'Occitane Finance team in Geneva. In this role, you will be supporting central L'Occitane product development teams in maintaining a profitable product portfolio at each stage of its lifecycle and participating in an exciting full product portfolio relaunch project!
The position is based in Plan-Les-Ouates (close to Geneva) and reports to the Brand Controlling Director.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. As part of the development process of new products, you will review, challenge and validate novelties' standard costs & price positioning to ensure margin targets achievement.
2. Participate in the annual price increase process for products, kits, merchandising, and promotional items.
3. Participate in the Excess & Obsolete products management process to maximize stock exhaustion & minimize obsolescence costs.
4. Each quarter, review and adjust our financial accruals for central inventory, and ensure follow-up on decisions made during the quarterly review.
5. Impulse transversal projects in fields such as product catalogue value analysis & rationalization, new products/lines & marketing projects financial impact evaluation.
6. Prepare monthly/quarterly profitability & contribution reporting and run ad hoc financial analysis required by the business.
HOW YOU CAN FIT:
1. Master's degree in Finance or Controlling.
2. 5+ years of experience in a similar role and industry (beauty, cosmetics, fragrance, make-up) or in an FMCG environment.
3. Fluent in French with at least a good command of English.
4. Excellent command of Excel.
5. Good command of SAP environment.
6. Analytical and concise mindset, with a strong attention to details.
7. Strong collaborative spirit and interpersonal skills.
8. Autonomy.
