We are looking for qualified employees in the field of chemical process development and scale-up. If you have a sound education (B.Sc./M.Sc. chemistry, laboratory assistant EFZ, CTA) and enjoy and are enthusiastic about experimental work in the laboratory and technical discussions with our experts, we would like to welcome you to our team.
Please note that this position is a pipeline position.
Key responsibilities:
* Planning and carrying out chemical experiments in collaboration with chemists and engineers in the area of process development and scale-up.
* Collection and processing of process data on laboratory scale (0.5-5 litres)
* Supporting process transfers and scale-ups to our multi-purpose facilities
* Analysis and characterisation of chemical products
* Independent and problem-solving work within the framework of projects
* Maintenance and further development of the laboratory equipment park as well as the supervision of laboratory automation equipment
* Supervision and training of new team members (laboratory technician apprentices)
Key requirements:
* High ambition to strengthen the safety culture
* University degree (B.Sc./M.Sc. Organic Chemistry) or laboratory assistant training EFZ/CTA or comparable training
* Broad experience in the field of laboratory synthesis as well as in the handling of production processes is required
* Proactive working style and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
* Very good knowledge of German or English is required
* Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an affinity for computer-aided laboratory equipment
