The PositionAs “Business Unit Digital & IT Lead“, you will be responsible for managing, developing and implementing information systems and services for the Parker Meggitt Business Unit in Fribourg. You will have to Develop Business Unit IT plans in accordance with management expectations and needs, incorporate enterprise systems solutions, and align with Corporate & Division IT directions and goals.The main responsibilities for this role are as follows:Lead the Fribourg IT organization, maintain alignment with business strategy as member of the Site Management Team.Establish proper annual IT plans incl. KPIs, budget plan, forecast, Team Improvement Board.Manage staff recruitment, performance, development, talent and training processes to ensure the team competencies and capabilities are aligned with the business needs.Provide active support and consulting services to all functional areas regarding software selection, database and software application training.Partner with Business Unit leaders to assess software opportunities, works with the Divison and Corporate Enterprise Systems teams to source the appropriate technology from Parker’s IT Portfolio and implement the technology to support the business.Responsible for the justification, configuration, distribution, and maintenance of all hardware related to information technology systems utilising the corporate standards and long term supplier relationships.Directs the implementation and maintenance of systems and services providing essential business functions.Reviews and maintains the compliance of systems to established standards in order to assure future flexibility and maintainability.Your ProfileUniversity Degree (Master preferably) ideally in Information Systems.At least 8 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 3 or more experience in a leadership role.Previous experience in Project Portfolio Management, Hardware & Software Management and Business & Systems experience, ideally in an engineering & manufacturing environmentFluent in both French and EnglishHighly analytical and structured with a good level of conceptual thinkingVery good business acumen and functional understanding of business processes found in an engineering/ manufacturing environmentExcellent communication to interact at all levels of the organization.The Position is based on site in Fribourg with potential (5%) travel to other Division sites in Europe.If you are looking for a challenging position with the opportunity to grow in a truly international company, please send your application (resume, letter of motivation, reference letters and diploma) through our website www.parker.com.
