Tasks
The Head of Trading Sales & Distribution will be responsible for promoting and selling our regulated digital asset trading services, specifically TDX, our regulated electronic trading platform for cryptocurrencies and tokenized securities. Your focus will be on onboarding new clients and generating trading volume.
You will be responsible for the following main activities:
* Proactively build a pipeline and prospect new clients (e.g., banks, securities firms, asset managers, institutional clients, corporations, HNWIs) willing to trade digital assets or offer digital asset trading platforms to their own end-clients.
* Ensure rapid and frictionless client onboarding in close collaboration with the support teams (e.g., KYC, FIX trading connectivity setup).
* Own the full sales process; engage with prospects, qualify deals, source and coordinate RFI/RFPs with prospects and within the internal Taurus team, prepare, manage, and follow up sales meetings and prospect interactions, and negotiate the closing of new client deals.
* Manage the existing client base to ensure high satisfaction and active use of the platform.
* Coordinate internally with the Product team to ensure sales handover and product gap feedback.
* Propose new ideas, strategies, and campaigns for sales success.
* Outreach: represent Taurus at third-party events and conferences, contribute to marketing, PR, and external communication, build partnerships with institutions within the space, and monitor the competitor landscape.
Requirements
* 5-10 years of working experience in trading and brokerage sales in the financial services industry (e.g., with a broker, an exchange).
* Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or economics.
* Solid and diversified book of clients, experience in building a strong pipeline, and sales lifecycle.
* Strong interest and knowledge in digital assets.
* Good knowledge of finance and capital markets.
* Good understanding of financial promotion, marketing, and cross-border rules.
* Dynamic and proactive entrepreneur.
* Available to travel extensively to visit clients on-site when needed.
* Fluent in English; fluency in another language is advantageous.
