You will collaborate withdeveloper teams to optimize the developer toolchain, systemsperformance and integration efforts Key Responsibilities - Lead thedesign, implementation and management of IT systems andinfrastructure services, including public/private cloud and networkinfrastructure to meet the needs of the R&D organization -Drive technology innovations and collaborate with R&Dcollaborators, Siemens corporate IT and other software/hardwarevendors to identify, evaluate and implement cutting-edge solutions.Establish clear guidance on the new IT solution evaluation processspecific to the local organization - Coordinate the installation,specification, testing and service transition of software andhardware, ensuring they align with operational needs - Runday-to-day operations and maintenance of server and networkinfrastructures (Windows/Linux server, VLAN, L2/3 Switch, Firewall)to ensure the reliability and robustness of IT services - Optimizesystem performance and robustness by regularly assessingperformance logs and supervising data - Provide expert support forserver/network troubleshooting, ensuring smooth operation andresolving user issues promptly - Address security and performanceissues, ensuring all systems meet industry standards and corporatesecurity requirements. Ensure compliance with industry standards andcorporate IT procedures - Work closely with corporate IT,application operations and other teams to develop strategies andaction plans for upgrades and integrations and deliver solutions(DevSecOps) Required Skills - Extensive (hands-on) experience withcore IT infrastructure technologies - Windows and Linux, includingconfiguration and management of base infrastructure services (e.g.,DHCP, DNS, Domain Controllers) - Managing virtualized environments,including hosting hardware, network virtualization and cloud-basedinfrastructure - Network and security technologies to ensure theintegrity and security of IT services (e.g., Cisco, Fortigate,RADIUS) - Familiarity with security principles for systems andnetwork administration (i.e., vulnerability management, zero-trustarchitecture, etc.) - Be proficient with modern developer tools andworkflows (i.e., Git-based CI/CD) while outlining migrationstrategies for outdated tools - Experience with IT/OT architecturesfor R&D environments/workflows based on innovative concepts,including migration strategy from today's solution - Acollaborative mentality with the ability to work effectively withinmulti-functional teams, ensuring alignment and encouraginginnovation across departments - Strong problem-solving skills withthe ability to assess complex systems and proactively proposesolutions - Self-starter with the ability to take ownership ofvision, lead initiatives, make decisions and drive improvementswithin the organization, supported by project management skills -Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectivelyconvey technical information to both technical and non-technicalcollaborators.
