MARKETING PROJECT MANAGER - Rare Diseases
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Head of Rare Disease Austria and Switzerland, he/she will be responsible for supporting the marketing, reporting and project management activities for the company's rare disease product portfolio, with a special focus on Alpha Mannosidosis, Fabry, Nephropathic Cystinosis, LHON and Thalassemia Major.
The resource will collaborate closely with internal teams such as Medical and Sales to drive informed decision-making and ensure the successful execution of business strategies.
He/she will have these main responsibilities:
* Consolidate and analyze sales data for the rare disease portfolio, providing regular reporting to senior management, including the Head of Rare Disease Austria and Switzerland;
* Monitor patient enrollment and treatment numbers for rare disease therapies, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of patient and sales data;
* Present insights and recommendations based on sales and patient trends to support the development of marketing strategies and business plans.
Marketing & Project Support
* Support the development and execution of marketing activities for rare disease products, with a special focus on Alpha Mannosidosis, Fabry, Nephropathic Cystinosis, LHON and Thalassemia Major;
* Assist in the creation of promotional materials, marketing and brand plans, ensuring that they are informed by sales data, market research and competitor analysis;
* Contribute to the development of customer engagement strategies and marketing plans, ensuring alignment with sales targets and business objectives;
* Maintain a comprehensive overview of patient numbers in rare disease therapies, ensuring that internal stakeholders have access to up-to-date and accurate data;
* Coordinate with Medical Affairs to ensure patient data is managed in compliance with relevant regulations and is integrated into marketing and sales strategies;
* Provide patient data reports to support internal decision-making, ensuring accurate forecasting and planning.
Collaboration with Medical and Sales
* Collaborate with the Medical Department to plan and execute scientific workshops, symposia, and congresses for customers and key opinion leaders (KOLs); support the Medical team in the development and approval of promotional materials.
* Attend relevant national and international congresses, conferences and other events as a representative of the Rare Diseases team;
* Gather insights from these events to refine sales and marketing strategies and provide additional reporting to senior management.
To accomplish the tasks the Marketing Project Manager will cooperate with cross-functional Teams and Corporate internal functions (i.e.: Corporate Global Rare Disease Team).
MAIN REQUIREMENTS
* Degree in Business Administration or scientific disciplines (Biology, Chemistry or similar);
* At least 2/3 years of experience in Marketing Departments of Multi-national pharmaceutical companies;
* Fluent in English, French and German, both written and spoken (mandatory);
* Strong analytical skills with a focus on data reporting and sales performance;
* Conceptual and strategic thinking abilities;
* Proactive, with strong organizational and execution skills;
* Team player with social competence and the ability to work collaboratively across departments;
* Proficiency in digital tools, including reporting and data analysis platforms;
* Availability to occasional travel to attend national and international conferences and events.
Place of work: Chiesi SA is located in Lausanne, Switzerland (smart working eligible).
