Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for shift operations, financial performance, and ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
* Work with the site manager to develop relationships with customers and their associates, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
* Understand customer requirements and adopt an approach to meet and exceed their needs.
* Work alongside the site manager to identify health and safety risks and take action to mitigate them.
* Lead, direct, and motivate the on-site management team, ensuring open communication.
* Support the development of Maersk's culture and values within the site.
* Set realistic and demanding KPIs, seeking ways to improve efficiency, performance, and reduce costs.
* Develop a culture of continuous improvement in all site operations.
* Ensure effective resource planning and management to meet customer and business requirements.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and accurate recording of stock movements.
* Ensure overall stock control and discrepancies are within agreed tolerances.
* Develop and implement a site succession plan and ongoing people development planning.
We Are Looking For
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
* Employment law knowledge.
* Budget setting and finance control expertise.
* Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.
* Operational warehouse management skills.
* Effective communication and relationship-building at all levels.
* Ability to lead, direct, and motivate across all departments.
* Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken).
