Job Description
Budgeting Process and Cost Control:
* Prepare the annual budget in collaboration with sales teams and functional stakeholders.
* Monitor monthly results compared to the budget.
* Control costs and forecast P&L/corporate lines.
* Create summary/ad hoc reports to alert executive directors in case of budget deviations.
* Propose corrective actions.
Monthly Closing:
* Actively participate in monthly close reviews.
* Ensure correct cost allocation.
* Identify anomalies and make necessary adjustments.
* Collaborate with trainees to produce reports for markets and management.
* Prepare and present detailed management reports, including comprehensive P&L statements, variance analyses, and executive summaries.
Monthly/Quarterly Reporting:
* Compile data from various departments to create monthly management reports.
* Ensure correct cost allocation (by cost center and nature).
* Reconcile management accounts and monthly consolidated financial statements.
* Assist the FP&A Manager in commenting on main cost lines.
* Respond to management and shareholders' questions on monthly reports.
Special Finance Projects:
* Participate in strategic finance projects with the FP&A Manager and Finance Director.
* Contribute to improving financial processes and optimizing costs.
* Collaborate on digital transformation initiatives and financial reporting automation.
