Job Responsibilities: Lead the architectural development of the Data Management Platform to host and combine all kinds of different data sources and streams.
Work with all stakeholders in close collaboration to understand their further needs in the next expansions of the capability of the plant operation & monitoring system architecture.
Ensure that the technology stack is appropriate and work closely with cloud providers and software suppliers.
Act as a mentor, lead, and guide the Data Engineering Team.
The following skills are required:
University degree in IT.
Strong interest in the automation of industrial plant operation and monitoring.
Good knowledge in event-driven architecture, cloud, and infrastructure as code.
Proficient in Java and/or Python.
Experience in data handling and processing (real-time, IoT, various sources).
Strong data analytics background (ELK, Kibana, Kafka, machine learning, etc.).
Strong communication skills and enjoyment in acting as an interface between stakeholders.
English proficiency; German is a plus.
Relevant Knowledge: Python, SQL, Java, AWS, Azure, DevOps, IoT, ELK, Elastic Search, Kibana, Kafka, Microservices, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, prototyping, connectors, dashboards, system monitoring, infrastructure as code, event-driven architecture.
