The Position
The Role
* Manage, coach and support line managers along the HR value-chain, ensuring compliance with relevant labor regulations.
* Drive the HR Agenda for assigned user groups, including attraction and hiring of talents, talent development, performance management, succession planning and organizational development in close cooperation with the business.
* Establish effective cooperative relationships with all local and global stakeholders from the business and HR, supporting global and local HR programs and strategies in the respective business area.
* Collaborate with other HR Business Partners and peers to develop integrated solutions and ensure policies and programs support the improvement of leader effectiveness and employee engagement.
* Support change management initiatives and projects, providing a positive employee relations environment that optimizes business effectiveness and minimizes legal risks.
* Resolve employee relations issues through a systematic approach, using sound judgment and legal advice when appropriate.
Requirements
* Academic background in human resources or a related field.
* Several years' experience as an HR Business Partner within an international organization, preferably within a pharmaceutical company.
* Very good knowledge of Swiss labor law, German labor law is an advantage.
* Strong communication and conflict resolution skills, loyalty and discretion.
* Proven ability to facilitate, persuade, influence and build credibility with all levels and functions.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Deep knowledge in HR Systems, preferably Abacus.
* MS Office knowledge.
* Fluent in German, French and English.
